Account Suspension & Recovery
This page explains what to do if your account is suspended or if you need to recover a previously deleted account.
1. Why accounts get suspended
Mini Vault may suspend an account if it violates the Terms of Service. Common reasons include:
- Posting spam or inappropriate content in the Community Feed.
- Repeated reports from other community members.
- Violating the community guidelines.
If your account is suspended, you will see a Suspended notice when you try to log in.
2. Understanding the suspension page
When your account is suspended, you will be redirected to a special page that shows:
- The reason your account was suspended.
- The date of the suspension.
- A link to submit an appeal if you believe the suspension was made in error.
3. Submitting an appeal
If you believe your account was suspended unfairly, you can submit an appeal.
- On the suspension page, click Submit an Appeal.
- In the appeal form, explain why you believe the suspension should be reversed.
- Provide any relevant context or information.
- Click Submit Appeal.
- You will receive a confirmation that your appeal has been received.
Appeals are reviewed manually. This process may take several business days. You will be notified by email when a decision has been made.
4. Recovering a deleted account
If you previously deleted your account and want to come back, you have a limited recovery window.
- Sign in using the same email address and password you had before deletion.
- If you are within the recovery window, you will see a Recovery Banner at the top of the page.
- Click Restore My Account.
- Your data will be restored and you can continue using Mini Vault as before.
The recovery window is limited. After it expires, your data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
