Community: Profiles & Following

Your Community Profile is your public face in Mini Vault. You can use profiles to see what other people have shared, and you can build a following of other miniaturists who appreciate your work.

1. Viewing community profiles

  1. Anytime you see a user's avatar or Display Name in the Community feed, click on their name.
  2. You will be taken to their Public Profile.
  3. Here, you can read their bio, and browse a grid featuring all the public collections, showcases, and posts they have chosen to share!

2. Following users

Did you find a miniaturist whose dollhouse builds totally inspire you? Follow them to ensure you never miss an update!

  1. Navigate to their Public Profile.
  2. Click the big Follow button near the top of the page.
  3. You are now following this creator! Their new showcases and posts will be prioritized in your Community Feed.
  4. To unfollow them, simply click the button again (it will now say Following).

3. Your followers and following lists

You can easily see who follows you and who you follow.

  1. Open your own Profile (by clicking your name anywhere, or from the Settings menu).
  2. Click the Followers number to see a list of everyone who follows your updates.
  3. Click the Following number to see a list of every creator you currently subscribe to.

4. Muting and blocking users

Your safety and comfort are paramount. If someone is bothering you or posting content you do not wish to see, you have full control over your experience.

  1. Navigate to the user's Public Profile.
  2. Click the three dots (...) next to the "Follow" button.
  3. Select either:
    • Mute User: Their posts and comments will no longer appear in your feed, but they can still see your public activity. They will not be notified that you muted them.
    • Block User: You will instantly unfollow each other. They will not be able to find your profile, view your public collections, mention you, or comment on your posts.
  4. Confirm your choice in the dialog window.
